You'll need to reactivate windows.

Want to know which mobo to get?

Spoiler

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

You'll need to reactivate Windows and it's also a good idea to sysprep your Windows installation prior to changing your motherboard.

Last month I upgraded my i5 4460 to a Ryzen 2600 keeping the same drives, it boots into windows directly. I did a fresh install of windows however afterward but you will boot without issue with windows 10

You do have to reactive windows. So if you bought a windows key from internet, watch if it's not a OEM version. If so, you might have to buy a new licence
