HELP

So I just built a ryzen 5 1600 system and my mobo is the gigabyte x470 ultra gaming and I went to overclock the cpu but it says I can’t adjust the frequency because the it isn’t a K series cpu (intel) which really confuses me and yes I have updated the bios

im not really amd or ryzen, but i think you need to have the x series (ryzen 5 1600x) to overclock

I hAve an unfinished pc build. Pls dont bully for not having one yet or i cry.

doesn't make any sense. Make some screenshots or pictures of those messages.

 

P.S.: next time, think of a proper thread title. If everybody who's looking for help just names the next thread "help" nobody knows anything. That's one of the very basic rules of online forums.

Use the quote function when answering! Mark people directly if you want an answer from them!
