Advice for an upgrade

Hi, I have a intel G4560 (Bad decision) and I have looked at a i5 8400 for an upgrade but I have been wondering if I should get a graphics card first (I don’t have one right now using integrated graphics) - looking at a gtx 1050. I was wondering what should I get first??

 

I do a YouTube channel and light video editing, sometimes use Blender for light animations, Fortnite, Roblox (cringe), looking into more games if my gaming wasn’t slow, small projects. - that’s the sort of stuff I would use. Any suggestions on what to get first.

try and snag a 1060 for $140 on r/hardwareswap when the new gpus come out at the end of this month. Then worry about CPU upgrades, that CPU isn't too bad.

1060 will max out what the CPU can do in Gaming.

 

How much memory & what speed to you have? That'll make upgrade paths a little easier to work out. (Likely a new motherboard + i5-8400 would work; or a R5 1600/2600.)
