Hello all! I have a interesting question. I'm starting a small property management business here in the near future. I was looking at getting around 5-8 laptops for my business. I'm looking for simply things such as word processing, accounting, spreadsheet work, and slideshows. I am traditionally a windows user. Its just what I know how to use best. However I use google docs a lot now just because of the auto save features and being able to log into multiple machines and having access to my files. With that said I was looking at windows laptops at first but the price would be about twice as much as it would be for a Chromebook with similar build quality.  Also, I've used a budget windows laptop recently and lets just say, it left much to be desired.  With all that said has anyone had experience with Chromebooks in the 300-600$ range. Would they be good machines to deploy in the work force? Any information on this would help me greatly! Thank you in advance!

If you do everything in Drive, you should be fine. Google has good support for small businesses, but I'm sure you could get away with using personal accounts.

We deployed Chromebooks at the high school I worked for in the past and they worked great. If you are not required to use any full sized applications and all of your work flow can be done with web-apps then you are fine.

The Chromebooks all run pretty close to the same if you go with the SSD storage (they should all have this but early on they had some with HDDs which was horrible). I recommend this one but it is only 11inch screen. This one is bigger but harder to recommend because it is more expensive.
