Affordable pc amp ?

So i recently got some Edifier r1850bt speakers for my pc and now im wondering if its worth getting and affordable usb amp?

At the moment i have them hooked up through optical on my asus z270i motherboard.

 

To be onhoust i havent shopped for a dedicated amp in ages and never for something to hook up to my pc.

So the question is : Would a affordable usb amp benefit audio quality? And if so any recomendations ?

 

In case its needed the speakers are active with 60hz-20khz frequency and 16wx2 + 19wx2 both at 6ohms.

I don't think you can even hook these up to an external amp, because they're powered speakers. You'd have to physically gut the speakers and make them passive.
