You'll have to find cloning software that allows you to do that.

Get a Samung SSD. They perform verry well and come with one of the best cloing softwares. Personaly used many times and worked fine.

BUT: You only want to clone the OS? Why not do a fresh install?

Games and stuff: some you can just leave on the HDD and not clone to the SSD. Then you can rum them from the HDD later. Others will have to be reinstalled

A final suggestion: 120GB and 250GB SSDs are not of by much in terms of price. So maybe spend the few extra $$ for dubble the storage and room for more games?

So im planing on buying a 120gb ssd to my computer as a bootdrive. Currently i have a 1tb hard drive with 700gb used. Ia there anyway to clone only the os or do i just have to delete all of my game etc.

Personally, I find cloning your OS to be more trouble than it's worth. I'd keep all your games and data on the drive you have now, and do a fresh install of Windows onto the SSD instead. This way you begin with a clean slate for your OS, and can simply point Steam and Battle.net (and other game launchers) to find the games on your HDD.
