Today I upgraded my network speed but I'm having a problem: I'm getting the old speed on my laptop and the new one on my smartphone. I use a Tp-link Archer C50 connected to my isp modem set to bridge mode. Both devices are connected to the 5Ghz network. I factory reset the modem and router, tried to connect the laptop the the 2.4Ghz network but only when I enabled the isp's modem wifi and connected to it I got the speed on my laptop. Also I disconnected my smartphone when testing the speed

What were you getting the "old speed" from if your ISPs WiFi is going fast too?

What WiFi adapter is your laptop using?

ASUS B650E-F GAMING WIFI + R7 7800X3D + 2x Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30-36-36-76  + ASUS RTX 4090 TUF Gaming OC

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) Backup: GL.iNet GL-X3000/ Spitz AX Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz) WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz)
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~1200Mbit down, 115Mbit up, variable)
Upgrading Laptop/Desktop CNVIo WiFi 5 cards to PCIe WiFi6e/7

my new connection is 35 Mbps and the old one is 10 Mbs. When I connect any phone to my router's wifi network I get the faster speed but when I connect any laptop to it I only get 10 Mbps. That doesn't happen when I connect the laptop via cable or to the wifi network of the isp modem/router combo. Hope I've explained better

Have you checked what the link speed says on the laptop connected to the ISP router vs the Archer?

I'm wondering if the WiFi mode is different and for some reason the laptop isn't liking it.  I mean its odd, should be pretty hard to get only 10Mbit off 5Ghz but you never know.

Then check the WiFi settings to see what the differences are, mode (802.11n, 802.11ac), channel, channel width, etc.  Anything that might be different to the ISPs router.
