Restart the computer, when it's posting keep mashing the <delete> key on your keyboard so you get into the BIOS
Go to the Advanced Frequency Settings
Make sure these settings are configured the following:
- CPU Clock Ratio: auto/default (if something is filled in, mouse over and click, then type 00 and hit enter)
Advanced CPU Core Settings
- CPU Flex Ratio Override: Disabled
- Intel(R) Turbo Boost Technology: Enabled
- Turbo Ratio/ Uncore Ratio: auto/default whatever is available. (if something is filled in, mouse over and click, then type 00 and hit enter)
Seen this shit a couple of times now. Not sure why Windows doesn't alert you the CPU is running at 0.912 ghz (instead of 3.1ghz) the whole time. Your other CPU was probably as well.
Have did these steps and it has worked.. I am now getting around 250+FPS in Fortnite and CS:GO.
Before, my CPU was at .9 Ghz and it is now running at 3.1 Ghz.
