I'm currently looking at buying a headset as my headset which was previously the Sony PS4 wireless stereo headset 2.0 as I was on ps4, now stitched to pc, but kept the headset. Recently it broke and is currently held on by duct tape so I'm looking for a replacement. My budget is no more than £120. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

This is the one I own - twice. It's comfortable, the wireless version has a bit of noise cancelling and the iCue software from Corsair is really decent, which is good. Battery-life is ok, it takes quite some time for it to recharge. I also like the fact that it mutes automatically when setting the microphone upwards.

The wired version has a 3.5mm jack that goes into the included USB adapter - that means the wired version is compatible with the PS4 controller, I tried it myself. But it has no noise-cancelling and it does not mute when putting the microphone upwards. It remains over-ear though and the mute button on the headset has easy access.
On top of that it's not expensive at all.

Kraken is wired, mine just broke.

The Thresher is wireless and can be used with Ps4.

I'm thinking about getting the man o war or Steelseries Arctis 7 wireless, the downside of the man o war is that it's prone to break at the top.

yeah, I've heard about the breakages I'm usually quite a careful person so I'm hoping it won't break but I quite like the look if the man o war. Still don't know if i want to go wired or wireless

The fake leather cusion and the bass of Razer are really good for a gaming brand, the mic is boomy but clear but I've tried one on and even with being carefull i see the 4 pins on top breaking easily and after that the plastic bars over your head have to hold the heavy earcups.
