Front io usb Ports

Have maximus x code and cm h500m. There are 2 front io usb 3.0 cables but there is only 1 header on motherboard. What am i supposed to do? Pleade help

each header can do 2 ports

The front USBs are powered by a single USB 3.0 cable, which goes into the USB 3.0 header. The blue cable, to be exact, should go into the keyed port on the motherboard, usually bottom-right or middle-right, you can't miss it.

There are 2 cables and 1 header.

Oh huh, I would've thought Maximus Codes would have 2 headers. Are you able to put one into a USB 2 header?

No they are both 3.0 's. (This is mind f**king)

Just plug in one of them and see what USB ports work, if they all work then move along with your build and enjoy it.
