Are they Compatible?

Hey Forum, I was wondering if these computer parts are compatible with one another. My Budget is $500-600, and the computer needs to have a Hot Swappable tray. The computer is solely meant for browsing the internet and storage of pictures, videos and etc.

My parents don't know any computers.. all they want is an i7 and a lot of storage.. i keep telling them that an i7 is very redundant but they won't listen. :(

For web browsing you could have a 1st gen i7 and not tell a difference. A dual core celeron can do that without a single hitch. Tell them to save their wallets PLEASE.

CPU: INTEL Core i7 4790k @ 4.7Ghz - Cooling: NZXT Kraken X61 - Mobo: Gigabyte Z97X SLI - RAM: 16GB G.Skill Ares 2400mhz - GPU: AMD Sapphire Nitro R9 Fury 4G - Case: Phanteks P350X - PSU: EVGA 750GQ - Storage: WD Black 1TB - Fans: 2x Noctua NF-P14s (Push) / 2x Corsair AF140 (Pull) / 3x Corsair AF120 (Exhaust) - Keyboard: Corsair K70 Cherry MX Red - Mouse: Razer Deathadder Chroma

Bit of an AMD fan I suppose. I don't bias my replies to anything however, I just prefer AMD and their products. Buy whatever the H*CK you want.

a core 2 quad from over 10 years ago would do just as well, convince them to drop it and use the money for an ssd instead.

Everything should work together. I do have some suggestions.

The case will house ATX motherboards, you may as well use one.

The i7-8700 has a stock memory speed of DDR4-2666.

I would suggest a better psu.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
