I'm getting a h100i v2 with my build next year and I was wondering if It was safe. This means leaking is it common in a AIO.

There is always a chance of it leaking, but its very marginal these days. You will have more of a chance of the pump dying and failing than the liquid leaking out. With anything, its a risk vs reward thing. If you are worried about it leaking, then water cooling is NOT the way you should go.
