Wireless mouse

I have a Logitech G700s that I'm fairly happy with EXCEPT the battery life is for some reason terrible. It comes with a rechargeable battery which I need to replace now, but keeping it on the lowest power usage even on fresh batteries it never lasts more than a couple days. A week maybe tops. Before I had standard wireless mice that used 1-2 regular AA's and lasted for around 2 years before dying.

 

Is there anything similar that gets better battery life? I like all the customizable buttons, and I like how large it is for my gargantuan hands. It doesn't need to be a "gaming" mouse, but I do use the custom buttons for media controls outside of games.

Logitech has their new top end model, but I don't really like the feel or button placement.
