Cannot log in to steam HELP

Each time i try to log in into steam there will be warning pop up says steam is having trouble connecting to the steam servers...and yes i have tried everything steam asked me to do and still nothing..

 

I received an email that contains a gameguard code which i suppose to enter because i use a new pc but each time i tried to log in..those warning always showed up...

 

ps: i can login via browser.

Are you sure it's not being blocked by windows' firewall? Have you tried reinstalling?

Yes i already re-install it and do the allow program through firewall thingy..still nothing

i am using wifi connection

Does this happen on any other machine? Does it still happen if you connect your pc to a different network?

It runs fine on my old pc....i havent tried other network..trying it now cause i have 2 modem at home..

Ok so i tried other network now i can logged in just fine..after that i switch back the other network and it runs fine...huh problem solved...

So weird...thanks for helping me man

There was probably a bug in either windows or your router which blocked steam's packets. Switching to another network must have reset some settings.
