Hdmi to component converter

Hi guys recently I got a hdmi to component converter from bang good.com to connect my psp to the monitor but it doesn't work no display detected.I plug in all the cable that is needed. Currently I send a ticket to their website but still have to wait.In the mean time I wondering if there is anyone out there have the same problem and how to go about it i using PSP 3000 series and using dell s2715H monitor. I checked both the hdmi and component cable is working perfectly.Also i checked the power led is on and i connected the color code correctly all in order
