Media Encoder being a b****

Long story short: I tell Premier to make proxy files for smooth playback in H.264 format, it opens up Encoder. Encoder finds all files, starts encoding. Halfway through the queue, the rendering stops, and goes no more. If I try to skip that file, it'll then immediately fail all the other unfinished files in the queue. I've tried launching the program directly and tried to encode files like that, that also didn't work. Encoder pretty much hates me

is it only happening while encoding with h.264? Have you tried changing any settings?

Doesn't matter what format I want it to be, I've only gotten Premier recently so I have little experience.

 

AMD 6300, GTX 760, 1 Terabyte HDD, 250 ish SSD

could be an issue with the older piledriver architecture, as they weren't really great APU's even for 2012-2013 when they launched

 

a couple of things that could cause issues are unstable overclocks, PSU issues (not providing enough power on the 12V rail), running out of resources (system memory, drive space, etc...)

 

upgrading to a newer platform (i.e Ryzen) could get you much better results

 

besides that, I don't have much experience with older AMD hardware, so I can't really say too much on troubleshooting
