"Open Source" E-Book Reader for Tour Groups?

Hi
I will lead in 1 - 2 Years a Group of People who will make a Tour around my Country. Tablets and Smartphone sucks the draw to much Energy.

Is there any E-Book Reader out there who can Open some Basic HTML Pages who are on an local Server to show some Infos, Maps,... and other Stuff but do not need an huge amount of Akku?
