Hi Guys,

I need suggestions on new earbuds. I'm just an average person in terms of hearing audio, and I've owned a few earbuds for the past year. I still have my favorite Earpods right now, but I don't feel like using it that much due to its fragility. As for my taste in sound, here's my ranking of the earbuds I've owned for the past year.

1.) Apple Earpods - Nice clean sound with good amount of bass. Comfortable to wear for up to 3 hours.

2.) Panasonic Ergofit - Clean sound as well, has fewer bass than the Earpods, but really good for $6. I just hate it because the materials feel very cheap.

3.) Beats urBeats 3 - Has strong bass, but overall sound is muddy for me. Has the best build quality that's why it was ranked here.

4.) AKG Y20u - Sound is a bit muddy too, bass isn't that strong. It's cheap, and it feels cheap. I just like the included leather pouch.

5.) Vivo Earphones - It tries to imitate the Earpods aesthetically, but its different with everything else. Feels light, materials feel different, and sound is just bad.

I need new cheap earbuds with mic to take with me everywhere. Based on my thoughts above, I'm hoping that you guys could suggest an earbuds that I would like. The JBL T110 and JBL C100SI are some cheap buds that I'm looking at right now. I don't know if I would like them yet.

If you're looking for wireless earbuds (and let's be honest, once you go wireless, it's hard to go back), I really like my Jaybird X2's. They've been suceeded by the X3's, but the general consensus is it was generational improvements, rather than revolutionary improvements.

"Not breaking it or making it worse is key."

"Bad choices make good stories."

Oh wow. They're quite the expensive ones :S You might be right though. With "once you go wireless, it's hard to go back". I would like to have the convenience of it being chargeable via lightning cable, which AFAIK only Beats X and Apple Airpods. But then again, powerbanks still use Micro B. Guess I'll start considering wireless also. Probably around the $20 price range
