Processor for 1050ti.

Which 8th gen processor should I buy for 1050Ti  graphics card?

How much ram will I need for next 5 years of gaming?

Only gaming. No streaming.

What's your budget? I mean, just because the dual core G5400 is enough to squeeze out all the performance of the 1050ti doesnt mean you should buy one.

Also, have you decided the motherboard model yet?

16GB of RAM will be more than enough.

CPU: i7-2600K 4751MHz 1.44V (software) --> 1.47V at the back of the socket Motherboard: Asrock Z77 Extreme4 (BCLK: 103.3MHz) CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 RAM: Adata XPG 2x8GB DDR3 (XMP: 2133MHz 10-11-11-30 CR2, custom: 2203MHz 10-11-10-26 CR1 tRFC:230 tREFI:14000) GPU: Asus GTX 1070 Dual (Super Jetstream vbios, +70(2025-2088MHz)/+400(8.8Gbps)) SSD: Samsung 840 Pro 256GB (main boot drive), Transcend SSD370 128GB PSU: Seasonic X-660 80+ Gold Case: Antec P110 Silent, 5 intakes 1 exhaust Monitor: AOC G2460PF 1080p 144Hz (150Hz max w/ DP, 121Hz max w/ HDMI) TN panel Keyboard: Logitech G610 Orion (Cherry MX Blue) with SteelSeries Apex M260 keycaps Mouse: BenQ Zowie FK1

Ryzen 5 1600 or i5 8400

Both of those are overkill for a 1050ti.

Pentium G4560 would be a good pairing, or something like the R3 1200 or 2200g, maybe Athon x4 950

I got a i5 4690 (non-k), in an old dell optiplex machine, I get over 100 frames in pubg on 1080p. Honestly anything past a 2nd gen i5 is perfect for the 1050ti.

Also use this to "guess-timate" performance.

I am planning to buy a gaming motherboard from gigabyte with wifi and B360 chipset.

I am also planning to buy a i3 8100 processor.

Will i5 8400 perform any better? Or the same as i3 8100?

Please tell me.

B360 Gaming 3 Wifi? It's the cheapest B360 mobo with wifi among all brands, last time I checked.

They will perform the same with the 1050ti. However, using the 8100 means running into CPU bottleneck if you upgrade the graphics card significantly. I'd recommend the 8400.

I have no plan for GPU upgrade. Because 1050ti is 260 USD in my country. So I have no plan to upgrade.

Is i3 8100 enough if I stay with 1050ti ?

Everything costs around 20-30% higher than the global price.

so you're gonna stay with this graphics card till it breaks and still replace it with something similar in  performance? Then 8100 will do.
