So I've got a problem since i built my new PC. I Installed Windows then Asus Aura, because everything i have in my new rig is Aura Sync comatible, and then some Games. But i only got Problems with 2 of 6. 1. Watchdogs 2 and Fortnite.

The error message on screen said "Game Security Violation Detected (#0000000D) [LightningService.exe]". I mean, i could just end the Task in the Task-Manager but that would only be a temporary Solution. And if i Move the exe file to another folder, Asus Aura wont Open. So i am Looking for a permanent Solution now.

And i was wondering if somebody here could help me.

  • 4 months later...

I just upgraded my msi b350 motherboard to an asus crosshair hero VI x370 never had any issues with the msi board. at that time i had installed several other upgrades including corsairs full kit of rgb fans light AIO. So I only got the errors once in a while once i fired it up i didnt know where it was coming from, so tonight I went to open fortnite of all things and the easy anti-cheat was causing the same error this post is about. i figured out that it is the newest version of the asus rgb program. but that was after dissassembling my rig one piece at a time till i realized that its the damn motherboard. at this point i could give a rats ass about the rgb lol so i deleted the program and all errors went away completely!

ive never posted on anything like this but after all the struggle i wanted to share and maybe save someone 5 hrs of shear terror of pining down a problem and it was rgb "Forehead"

I really hope this helps or saves someone time! im a seasoned noob when it comes to pcs but its forums like this that make people smarter! thanks for such a great avenue for information, and not asking for my left arm to join!
