hi guys,

I recently stumbled over and got my hands on a gpu from a reputable vendor in my area.

it's a gtx 780 ti that hasnt been used for gaming or mining.

it has been opened out of the box but thats pretty much it.

So i wanted to clean the pcb board as it seems to have had some contact cleaner residue on it from their work shop.

Any tips?

Are u sure those residues are from contact cleaner? Usually those can be cleaned pretty easily .. even using just tap water!
Maybe that residue you are talking about is from smth else ? Can u post a picture of it so i can see it with my own eyes and try to guess from what it is ?

I have experience with cars where i used quite a bit from that contact cleaner and brake cleaner which is the same but with one or two additives more .. and usually those leave a residue on plastic if they are left to dry on it's own,but can be cleaner pretty easy! :)
