UMC22

How do i connect my speakers to my UMC22 from Behringer? When I connect them via the headphone port on the front I get no game sounds, I get sounds from evrything else but not from games. YouTube is fine as is the music playing on my PC, I just dont get any game sounds. 

 

My speakers are bog standard 3.5mm jack, mains powered ones from Polkaudio. 

 

The direct monitor function is very difficult to use I have found. With the mic gain set at perfect for gaming videos, I cannot hear myself at all though the direct monitor!! The manual for this is rubbish, dosnt explain nearly enough. And, i cant seem to find the audio software for it either. ASIO4ALL or what ever its called. Have i downloaded the wrong one? I dunno. The instructions are shit. 

 

I want to be able to run my speakers through the UMC22 and my mic through it aswell, but no game sounds at all. 

 

Could anyone help?

Are you on Windows? If so, set your audio output device default to the audio interface. Also make sure that if the program can set its own audio output, you set it to the audio device you want. Check for a settings page within your program.

I did all that and still nothing happens. Still no game audio at all!

So....it seems that its only Sniper Elite 4 that dosnt work with it...cos Portal 2 is fine......what going on there?

I don’t have sniper elite 4. The best suggestion I have is verify integrity of game files or reinstall it if it’s legitimate. Otherwise post on steam discussions and google it. Sorry I can’t help but maybe another individual here can help. Good luck!

Reinstalling would take an absolute age. It took 8 hours the first time! I will try verifying the game files later and let you know
