Need help with port forwarding

Versti

I'm setting up a Minecraft server for my little brother and his friends.

So as usual.. I did the port forwarding as seen in the picture:

the reason why there are 2 port forwards is because there's ppp1.1 and ppp0.1 I added both to be safe.

image.png.5c6f68ba12ae630a68ec3e6f719c0b3a.png

as you can see.. the port is closed for some reason, I have added the ports into the firewall inbound, so I know that it's not the problem.

the IP is correct, I have checked it on multiple websites.

I think the server IP you have listed is incorrect. That should be the IP on the LAN side the Minecraft server resides on. 10.0.0.1 is the gateway for your router, so it should be something different. Also, make sure the Server has a static IP on it otherwise it will mess up the port forward should it ever change for some reason.

You're pointing the port-forwards to 10.0.0.1 -- that's usually the address of the router, not a PC on the network. Point it at the correct IP-address.

go to the machine you have the Minecraft server on and open a command prompt window by pressing the Windows key and R and then typing in CMD.exe into the box that appears. From there type in ipconfig. Find the one that says IPV4 and use that. It will look similar to this

thats a very odd network setup...

somethings not right... You need to reconfigure your router.. 10.0.0.1 should be the gateway IP address of the router, not 10.0.0.138 with a /24 subnet...

How do I reconfigure? should I call like the ISP or can I do it manually?

you would need to do it manually. You can find it usually under the LAN settings of the router.
