I installed more ram into my pc a while ago, and right after it would blue screen after a few seconds, if it booted at all, even after I too the new sticks out. I recently noticed that the timings were 5 slower than the rating at 15 on the bigger number. I set it back to normal and it seems to be fine, question is, is the timing the cause of the whole issue?

Are you selecting an XMP profile when you make adjustments in your BIOS or are you manually changing the values for speed and timings?
