Same settings, different colors?

Kranolf

Hey guys! So I just bought 2 monitors from an official shop on ebay (they were used 3 days on Dreamhack as they claim). The smaller one is a PG27V, the larger one is an XG32V. Now I am really confused cause  I don't know if they are faulty or not, or which one is, but no matter if I set the same exact settings in OSD on both, they do always look different in terms of colors. I know one is a TN and the other one is a VA panel but is it this much difference? They show completely different colors, like very light orange and very dark orange. The 32inch is much darker idk why.

Also, the 27 inch I think is faulty, cause on most of the white backgrounds it looks very foggy, like the monitor is dirty and has to be cleaned, except it's not.

va is darker because of contrast

difference in colour is probably TN having worse sRGB than the VA so worse colour reproduction

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

Thanks! About this foggy thing, is it okay to have? Cause I have it on the VA panel as well, but it's not that visible as on the TN.

This pic is on the TN (it's not a dark area, it's the whole screen with some little grey dots, but the center is okay as u can see)

its the matte coating to make it have less reflection.

I don't get it. So this is normal? On the VA panel it really looks like it is , but I'm telling you, on the TN panel it's looking like it literally has smudging on it, all over it when there's white background. The very white looks a bit cleaner, but the slightly darker-greyish one is freakin ugly. I can't really describe and I can't really take a picture of it to explain better.

Even here on LTT there are the boxes that are really white and there's the side which is greyish, and looks awful on the TN.

Made a video, hopefully it's visible. So the first one, the TN the shitty one, then the VA.

Fun fact, TN costs 150 EUR more than the larger VA. Just cause it has Gsync.
