Amazon always ditches delivery

Whenever I ordeer something from amazon India, they always pre cast teh delivery date and then later that day I get a text message that delivery was attempted and they were unable to contact me.
It happened with me for the 3rd time now, the amazon support just says it'll be delivered and cut the call.
 

I dont know what to do, they do say it'll be delivered the next day and it is but that always causes me inconvience as they never give me the contact of delivery boy or call me saying it'll not be delivered. This time I had a thermal paste coming in for the laptop and I had to cancel my enginneer's appointment.

 

Should I be conserned with this or maybe contact some higher authorities?
