Heya guys!

Been a while since I was actively posting here and even longer since I was keeping myself updated on anything so here goes!

I'm looking for a sweet 27" 4K display for editing photography, video and gaming. Time to put my 144Hz displays on the shelf or on the market.. Time to move in with my girlfriend!

Which means a triple monitor setup in a 27sq m apartment isn't happening.

Gaming in this case would be the 2nd choice, so basically color accuracy and brightness goes before high refreshrates and so on.

My budget isn't huge, but I'm aware that I have to invest a bit of cash to get a good display with those standards.

I've taken a look at the 27UD88 from LG, and it seems to be very popular even with bigger youtubers and reviews are good.

I do however know that some good hardware is left in the shadows just because that model/brand isn't very well known.

Do you have any examples or tips on other displays? Or should I just go for the LG?

My budget would be around the price of the LG display I mentioned.

Thanks! :)

99% sRGB coverage, though if you want to commit really hard you should give a look to screens with adobe RGB coverage

Yeah I have some knowledge about this, but you want me to dig deeper?

Also thanks for the suggestion! Do you have any personal experience with this monitor?

Oh there's a cheaper option without USB-c?

No I dont have personal experience with that exact monitor but used to work with a adobe rgb rated screen and in comparison to a normal monitor you could cleary see difference in colours

I realize now that I've looked into that display before, and it seems it doesn't actually hit 99% in tests after all.
