Automatically copying files?

Go to solution Solved by PineyCreek,

Yay MS for getting rid of Briefcase in favor of their OneDrive. Yay lack of choice.

Might look at FreeFileSync, I think it'll do what you want:

I was wondering if it was possible to sync a folder to a usb (and from usb to computer) automatically by plugging the usb into my computer.

i have tried a backup software but it creates a backup file where i still want to be able to access the files on another computer without decrypting the information, (file to file copy, basically if i copied the files to the usb its self)

it would be preferable if it synced rather than did a full copy (copies only new/edited files across), this would be for multiple different folders on my pc (my programs folder for if im cleaning/setting up a computer [i add programs to this folder constantly], my university folder to act as a backup/portable storage, and also my multimedia folder [recorded videos so i can review the file elsewhere {in say the lounge room to show guests}])

i know that draging the files across may seem like the go to, i just wanted to know if there was a way to automatically do this without it being compressed/joined like most programs (that i have used) do
