Windows 8.1 Lockscreen issue

Go to solution Solved by thehunt33r,

Same problem on a BWU Stealth 2013. Solution was to completely uninstall Synapse, and the problem didn't show up afterwards :)

So, I am kind of stuck in a situation where my keyboard is causing me a lot of trouble.

As you may know, when you leave your computer idle for a long time it goes to the lock screen.

The issue arises after the lock screen. When I unlock my computer, my keyboard goes crazy locking onto the enter key non stop.

My keyboard is the original blue LED blackwidow from razer and I am using synapse 2.0 and I have no macros or any custom settings set up on it.

This is why I am completely stuck. Every time I unlock my computer I have to hard restart my computer as i cannot do anything due to the enter lock.

Imagine doing anything with the enter key pressed non stop.

So, here is a what has been happening...

Please help me! I don't want to have to restart my computer every time i unlock it.

Thanks!

Thanks for the help. Didnt know other people had the same problem because my razer keyboards survived 3 water spills and still work. I thought the board was shorting.

If your issue has been solved it is a good idea to mark it as solved.

No problem :D just giving you a heads up. Been a lot of topics left open that have been solved.

Also I was going to chime in and mention synapse as the culprit but looks like it's already been mentioned.

  • 1 month later...

I apologize for bringing this topic up again, but I am having the exact same issue. Any idea if there's a workaround to still use Synapse?

Thanks!

I had many conversations with the Razer support team and they were not helpful. They just didnt understand that Synapse was the issue not the keyboards themselves. At this point the nest solution is to keep reminding them that there is a bug in their software.
