Weird Lockscreen Issue on OnePlus 5t

Last night when checking my notifications by going to my lockscreen either by pressing the power button or by double tapping on my 5t, it would bring up the pattern unlock instead of just the lockscreen, but the notifications would still be in the background. I've never seen anything like that before. I've tried turning it off and on again a few times, disabling the fingerprint unlock and secondary security and renabling it, none seem to have fixed it. It seems to happen half the time I go to check notifications, but generally refuses to do it when I'm trying to show someone! Not sure what else to try or anything, so hopefully someone has some idea and can assist if this made any sense, thanks!
