Recently i upgraded from this:

CPU: AMD Phenom X4 970 BE

GPU: R9 270 2GB GDDR5

RAM: 4 GB Kingston DDR3

PSU: bequiet! 400w

MoBo:Asrock 960gm-vgs-fx3

HDD: 250GB WD 5400 RPM

To this:

CPU: i5-4590(used)

MoBo: GA- B85M-D3H(uses)

And the rest are the same.

The PC ran fine before, but now i cant even begin to install windows on an already formatted HDD.

Also ran memtest86 and got errors instantly and the test froze, it was a bootable test thing and i let it run whatever test it wanted to by default, there were CPU specs on that test screen, i read somewhere that it could be RAM but i highly doubt, because i keep rebuilding the pc to the old MoBo and CPU , back and forth, and it works on the old setup(asrock and amd).

Before formatting, and trying to boot on an already installed Windows 7 it would get to the "Starting Windows screen" and crashes as soon as the logo begins to appear and usually leads to a BSOD, but with different error messages almost every time. Here's some of them: THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED, BAD POOL HEADER, BAD POOL (something else), PNF CORRUPT (something). I am really growing sick of this, rebuilding the pc every time i think i have a fix just to fail miserably and feel the urge to smash the. pc against the ground.
