Integrated graphics not working

Hey guys gota bit of an issue here. I've just removed my graphics card as there was a bit of a fault with it, as I'm sending it back to the company I received it from. I decided that in this time I have no graphics card, I could use my integrated graphics in my i5 6600k. I took the CMOS battery out, waited a minute put it back in, and I then connected my monitor. But I get nothing. What have a done wrong? Thanks.

Make sure onboard graphics is enabled in the bios.

Sorry, didn't think.    Cable secured properly, correct input selected on monitor?  Try resetting the bios again, keep the battery out longer or use the bios reset button or short the reset pins on the motherboard and take out the battery also.  See if any of these work.
