Hey guys,

I've recently run into a bit of cash, and I'm looking to use a portion of it to upgrade my PC. I'm wondering what you all would suggest upgrading.

The computer is used for gaming and video editing, so it does take on a pretty big load sometimes. I've only run into speed issues a few times, particularly when editing films, so I may not even want to upgrade the parts themselves, but just work on the look of the build.

In terms of look, I'm wanting to make a blue/black build, I'd rather not use blue LEDs, but more white to highlight the individual components. Water cooling is something I'm interested in, but I'm not sure if it would be worth it (change my mind), and I wouldn't even know where to start.

Anyways, what do you think I should do? I have a $500 budget (flexible), and I'm ready to upgrade, whether it be components, water cooling, or cable management. Any tips about rearranging parts or cleaning up what I already have would be very helpful as well.

Thank you!

If it were me, I'd get some RGB strips, play around with cable management, maybe make a custom PSU shroud and call it a day. It's a solid machine to start with.

For example, instead of having the rear fan cable bunched up with a twist tie, you could have the excess go back into the cable management portion of the case.

Cable management is proving to be a struggle for me, is there anything else, in particular, you see that could be improved on?

Also, for the rear fan, how would I do that? I'm a little confused by what you mean.

You don't think getting an NVME would be worth it? How much of a performance boost do you think it would give me? I've heard they're far superior to SATA.

Also, what, aside from program files, should I be putting on my SSD?

project files.
I mean, yeah you could go NVME they're much faster. if you don't need the capacity.

Like Adobe project files?

How about game files, would it do anything to install the game files onto an SSD rather than an HDD?
