Downstream and Upstream

So i recently started streaming on twitch.tv and i'm confused as to why i have high ping when streaming.

I have a 10mb download 7mb upload on Ethernet. i use about 2700bitrate for streaming in 616p60fps ,Yes this is the settings i enjoy most.

Now i am curious as to why im having high ping when i stream,there is still so much dl and up left...

Can it be because of my routers downstream and upstream?

my avg ping to EUW FRANKFURT is about 180(playing League of Legends) but when i start streaming i get high ping of up to 240-260.

Just to make sure, is your download 10Megabyte/second or 10 Megabit/second, you can find that out by making a speedtest. Megabyte is shortened as MB while Megabit is Mb. Make sure that you dont mix those two up. Same goes for KBps and Kbps

10200Kbps Download and upload is 7044Kbps

So you have about 1,3 Megabyte/s download and 0,9 Megabyte/s upload. From the top of my head I cant really recall my settings but try lowering the bitrate to about 750 and make a test run and tell me if that works any better. Would be unusual but might be that whatever software you use to stream is expecting Kilobyte/s instead of the usual Kilobit/s (normally used in data rates)
