Help plan on building a new computer

Hey all looking in mid to late August to build a new computer, I been gaming proprietary with an Alienware 15 R1 using a geforce 1080 on a lg 32 inch 4k monitor, but now the time that my l is props I-5 with the the ddr3 8gb is ram has been running hard, and I still will want to use it for portable gaming, I am planning something more newer, I plan a rough $1000 for the system build minus graphics card, got that, I am also going for a black and blue starlight look to go with the photo, I was looking at the Ryzen 7 since its motherboards will be interchangeable with future cards, I also want a full atx board and was planning on a tempure glass on one side
