Help Computer Lock up

Hi i just built a new computer and ever since i built it my computer has been freezing up randomly or wont post 80% of the time

Can you explain in detail on what you have done after you installed the os for the time

 

The specs does not show any thing that could cause a freeze

You have to tell us what you're experiencing, how long you've had your PC for, and when you started noticing these things.

Well when I press the power button it loads onto the ROG screen then freezes but every now and then i get past that part and boots into windows, but when it boots into windows it freezes randomly

I just built this PC like 1 week ago and the freezing started a little after i built it and has been freezing more and more often ever since i built it

That sounds like either an incorrectly-seated CPU and/or RAM to me. Can you access the UEFI/BIOS?

try to update bios and if the problem exist clear cmos

Yes i can but very randomly i can

well before i wiped my hard drive i got the latest bios, but after i completely wiped i thought i didn't need the new bios cause i would still have it

If you can access BIOS, I'd suggest manually setting the CPU voltage to 1.25V and then seeing if anything changes.

if you can access bios check for multicore enchancment or something similar sounding and turn it off and try, one other troubleshooting method is trying to boot up with one stick of ram in multiple ram ports

Okay ill update bios, and ill try the cpu thing after and then this

I updated my bios and everything seems fine right now
