I am looking for new mouse keyboard and headset for a new computer I am currently building

I would like it to sync with Asus Aura Sync but I'm not a huge fan of the Asus offerings if it is Rbg but it doesn't have  to be RGBAny ideas are appreciated

I would like a few macro key options for a couple of quick shortcuts.

There is one mouse I can't possibly recommend enough. In my opinion, the Logitech G502 is the best gaming mouse on the market, period. It has up to 12000DPI, 16.8 million color programmable RGB, 11 programmable buttons (through the Logitech Gaming app), 1ms response time, and it's one of the most comfortable mice i've ever had the pleasure to use. For the keyboard, what do you like? Do you want a number pad, or do you like tenkeyless? Do you want RGB? Do you want Cherry MX switches? What's your budget?

Main PC:

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X • Noctua NH-D15 • MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk • 2x8GB G.skill Trident Z Neo 3600MHz CL16 • MSI VENTUS 3X GeForce RTX 3070 OC • Samsung 970 Evo 1TB • Samsung 860 Evo 1TB • Cosair iCUE 465X RGB • Corsair RMx 750W (White)

Peripherals/Other:

ASUS VG27AQ • G PRO K/DA • G502 Hero K/DA • G733 K/DA • G840 K/DA • Oculus Quest 2 • Nintendo Switch (Rev. 2)

Laptop (Dell XPS 13):

Intel Core i7-1195G7 • Intel Iris Xe Graphics • 16GB LPDDR4x 4267MHz • 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD • 13.4" OLED 3.5K InfinityEdge Display (3456x2160, 400nit, touch).

So I haven't bought a new desktop in years and I've always gamed on Xbox

So I'm a little new to the more technical aspects including actually building this pc I'm pricing out but that's gonna be another post when I'm not at work

As for budget about 300$ is what I'm expecting to spend on mouse keyboard and headset but a little cheaper is always ok

I need to do a little more research on mechanical keyboard switches and what types there are because I don't know a lot about them

Definetly dont get the g502. 12million dpi is useless, no one goes that high. Also it weighs a ton, 125 grams or something which is like double the most popular mouse, the final light ultralight pro. Get the g900 (expensive - the wireless is excellent), the gpro/g203 (may be uncomfortable) or the zowie ec 2a (bad buttons - doesnt matter too much). As for the keyboard, logitech has some excellent ones, or corsair, shop around and see what you like best. And for the headset, the hyperx alloy II's are pretty much widely regarded as the best headset now if you arent worried about money.

I was definitely leaning towards the Logitech 910 keyboard  and the Logitech 502 mouse but the whole point of this is to get some feedback

On weight I tend to be partial to heavier objects

I work in a kitchen and my Chef knife of choice is a Wustof. Which is a heavy knife. But I like that feel in my hand

Now how a heavy mouse is going to feel I'm not as sure on. I wish I could get the chance to test a few out

Don't worry about weight. It even has 5 3.6 gram weights in the bottom that you can take out if you want.

And I cannot agree enough with you :P I owned this G502 when I used to game, not gaming for a while until I get an upgrade but staying active to look for updates on new hardware.

If caring about sound quality typical gaming headsets are bad, with RGB meaning more miniscule part of price going for actual quality.

I mean you wouldn't buy some total crap CPU and GPU tested nowhere just because they were fancy named and shiny coloured, or would you?

(that's how nearly all gaming headsets are made)

If you don't like the idea of keyboard making as much ruckus as possible G910's Romer-G switch is one of the quieter ones.

Most mechanical switches fail to give damn about noise having very sharp "clickety-clacketyness".

And unlike very garish illumination in most keyboards its illumination is very controlled and stylish.

If not needing extra macro keys G810 could be available for good amount cheaper, though discounts make prices pretty varying.

I'm definitely not looking for a large clacking keyboard so it being relatively quiet is a plus.

The macro switches is actually one of the reasons I'm looking at this keyboard to begin with.  Just for basic things but once I find myself using them hopefully I'll be able to edit them for gaming.

At winter I switched from MX Brown G710+ with factory installed o-rings (so already quieter than typical Cherry MX keyboard) and Romer-Gs are clearly quieter with lot calmer/smoother noise profile.

Topre switches would be likely still smoother, but those don't have any illumination.
