Are these parts still usable?

Hello, a friend of mine wants to build a gaming PC for around 600$, he's not going to be doing any gaming at max settings and nothing over 1080p. I have some old parts I might sell him and I was wondering if they would still be usable because they are from one of my old builds. The parts are an AMD Athlon X4 760K and a MSI A78M-E35

Ya, thats what I was thinking. Ill probably just ebay them lol thanks anyways.
