Hi

I am having some issues with my new Behringer UMC22 interface. when I try to speak into my mic it produces some REALLY loud echo and the quality is awful. The problem is not the mic as I have been using it before

I am using the neewer nw800 mic connected via an xlr to xlr cable.

please help

Ok so does it echo back into your headphones or does the echo transmit over the microphone line in windows?

No. I am running the playback on my monitor. I will attach a small file of what it sounds like, and I am serious. It is that bad.

Short answer: don't do that, use headphones to monitor rather than speakers.

I am now using some headphones and I still get the same problem. Its slightly better though
