So about 5 months ago, I got my PC built. My brothers PC stopped working so he asked to test his GPU in my computer. So, I obviously helped him out. I took out my GTX 760 and we tested his and found out it didn't work. Then in the process of putting my GPU back in, I accidentally dropped a screw in my computer while the power supply was plugged in, but not turned on. Then when I went to test it, it didn't display. I made sure my GPU worked, and I even tried getting a new mobo and a new PSU but they didn't work. I can't figure out the issue!

I don't have much money at all, so I can't afford new parts. If anyone has any ideas of what to do, please tell me. I'll try anything! Thank you!

Doesn't seem like the screw did anything.  Dropping a screw in while it is off is not likely to do any damage.  My guess, if anything, is that the PCIe slot is damaged.  If you have another x16 or x8 slot try that.

Thank you for the reply, that seems to not work either. I also tried different cords except for the vga/dvi port because I do not have a cord for that
