RGB lightning!

Hey guys!

 

So I've fumbled around with my RGB things, and it seems like I can't really get to control the RGB lightning on my AMD Wraith Spire, does anyone have any experience with this? I've connected it to my JLED header on my MSI b350 tomahawk, when i turn on my pc it lights up and everything, but I cant seem to control it, tried with the MSI gaming app and the one from Cooler master whom made a specific software program for the cooler, but all it does, is it tells me to "plug in your CM device to get started" any idea whats wrong here?
