GTX 940MX Error

Got this laptop acer espire e5 and in the start for about 2-3 days the gpu (gtx940mx), worked fine on windows 10 but as soon as windows updated it stopped working and has not worked since causing bsod's, and random hard crashes. decided to install windows 8 to see if the problem persists although the laptop does not crash anymore in the device manager it just says this device has encountered some problems and stopped working.

Acer ironman-sk motherboard

Gtx 940mx

4gb ram

240 gb ssd

500 gb hdd

reinstall windows 10 then do not allow any changes to the factory drivers the gpu uses.

if you let windows just install any drivers or updates it wants then it'll overide proprietary software the laptop needs to work.

Try reinstall both Intel and Nvidia GPU with the latest one from website. Use DDU if possible.
