Hello everyone, I recently built a new pc. Here are the specs:

MSI Z370I Gaming Pro Carbon AC Mini Motherboard LGA1151 (Risers Installed, supports 8th Gen Processors only)
Intel Core i7-8700 6 Core Processor LGA1151 (Motherboard Compatible)
MSI Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti 4G OC (No PCI-E Port, draws power from Motherboard)
2TB External Seagate Expansion HDD (USB Driven)

Cryorig C7 CPU Cooler (Paste used)
2x8GB Ripjaw V Series DDR4 Memory (Unsure of the speed)
Apevia 550W PSU (Not a modular, cable management sucked)

Now, my main issue is that everything is installed and my father and I made sure it was installed properly. I have a boot drive that contains Windows 10 Home Edition. When I press the power button, all the fans and lights come on, but I can't even get to a bios screen. If ANYONE can help me resolve this issue or have relations or direct contact with anyone who I can ship my pc off too, that would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you everyone! If you need anymore details or pics of my pc, please add it in your comment!

*Also, please note that I have tried both HDMI ports on the graphics card and motherboard.*

Hello, Could you be a bit more specific about whats happening? When you power it on is it just a black screen? Are you getting any POST codes? have you tried running your video out of the motherboard instead of the graphics card to see if that changes anything?

Edit: Sorry i just saw you tried the motherboard.

Of course, sorry for being uninformative in my post. When I power on the rig, there is absolutely no output. I have tried the HDMI port in the motherboard and the graphics card. Also, I don't receive any post codes. I don't believe my motherboard beeps either. Quite a weird motherboard in my opinion, haha. My screen after powering on stays blank. No input is detected from either HDMI port. Thanks!

Try a different PSU. I've had units be able to power on the lights and fans, but not actually power on the system itself.

I mean, I checked the wattage requirements and it doesn't come NEAR close enough to the wattage draw. My pc only requires a little under 200W altogether.

The units I've experienced this with were 400W and 500W PSUs, powering systems that drew maybe 200W at load.

What I'm saying is, your PSU may be essentially dead.

This may be true, I mean it WAS only a $30 PSU...

I would aim for a Corsair CX550M, should cost you around 50-60 USD.
