Question about intel graphics 630

Is i5-8600K without graphics card better than i5-3300 and Nvidia GeForce GT 630 

I am asking because I'm building a PC but I might have to wait until I get the graphics card for it since I want a good one (most likely 1070TI or 1080)

Right now I'm gaming on a very old PC i5-3300 and Nvidia GeForce GT 630, so I was wondering if the new PC I build will be better than this even without the graphics card (until I get it)

Yes the iGPU in the CPU is better than the GT 630 though it is still quite slow.

It will be better, but still bad, you may as well wait and get everything all at once -- unless something is on an amazingly good sale.
