Hi guys,

please move ice if necessary, is the ez ASUs tuning on the bios worth it? Can choose extreme or fast?

will this harm my Pc at all? And will it void warranty ?

have a 8700k

i played around with my ez tuning on my gigabyte and i dont see them varrying much if any, just terminology. When i restarted computer, the tune went back to default, meaning every restart you need to re do it. If you want a constant OC, do it yourself in the bios.

The ASUS Ez Tuning profile isn't all that bad. If you fairly new to OC, then sure. Not sure what Gigabyte was thinking, but I know that with this feature, it will keep your OC so you do not need to redo it every time. The only problem with the Ez Tuning that I experienced is that it applied way to much voltage to the CPU. That is why it is advised to just do the OCing yourself. There is a really great video by Der8auer where he is using the Maximus X Hero when over clocking his 8700K. You can literally follow his guide every step of the way and be fine since most boards by ASUS has the same BIOS layout.
