Can't install windows on HDD.

Hello I've been having problems installing windows 10 home 64 bit on my wdc wd10ezex-omfao. i can't install any OS. When I finish installing windows it reboots and asks to install windows through but after that, I remove the USB and boot the HDD and it says please select a bootable HDD. this is a new HDD it was made in 2017 December the 11. I have tried different device installing it and it just won't work.

because win 10 might be installed on SSD only, its a feature! joke, have you tried looking into bios boot settings ?

is that the only drive plugged in (other than usb installer of course)?

I'm experiencing this my self

if you are using more than 8GB USB drive or even HDD with USB enclosure windows 10 is really that stupid to install the MBR into your installation drive instead the internal drive.

 

I don't know what to cause it or how to fix it, the only thing I did to prevent that is using usb drive 8GB or less size.
