New Monitor

cs95

Right, I'm a noob when it comes to monitors. I've just picked up an ASUS VG245H 75hz monitor, any tips to get the best image? Out of the box it was pretty bright so I've already sorted that. Also I had to cap the fps at 75 and then enable vsync on battlefield 1 just to get it to run smooth and get rid of tearing, will I have to do this for every game? Tia

What's your PC hardware?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

You should easily be able to turn on fast-sync, so long as your frame rate stays about 75fps you shouldn't have tearing issues.

So just run games at lower settings to get the fps higher for that.

Wait, how much did you pay for that display? I'm seeing $169, which would be a terrible price for it.
