Weirdest driver glitch

This is really annoying, when I dont have my nvidia 9800 gtx+ drivers installed everything is fine I can set it to its full resolution but if the drivers are installed, then its stuck at 1024 x 768 anyone know why this is happening?

The monitor is also unnamed in the Nvidia Control Panel it simply says "Digital Display"
