PC doesn't boot up. Kinda

IC-Akryte

So first it boots up normally, the CPU fan and the case fans run normally. I get no picture from my monitor and none of my peripherals light up. I checked with another motherboard that's way older and everything works. So it must be the mb? Is there anyway to fix it or something

So you moved all your parts from your current build to another computer with just the motheboard being the only changed part and it works fine? If so then it probably is the motherboard. What have you tried in terms of resetting the currently not working one, CMOS/cleared or bios reset?

Does the motherboard beep during startup?

Or give error codes/have a diagnostic display? Maybe specs and a motherboard name might help us fix your problem.

Ok. I would first try to clear the cmos and boot without the gpu. If it doesn't boot then it will most likely be the mobo. It most likely will need a bios update to accept the 4460 which is a Haswell refresh chip.

Agreed, I would also check the PSU as well just because the VS line isn't known for being terribly good.

Tried both of them without success. I'll see what the BIOS update can do but I maybe should have added that i used it before and it used to work just fine

Also how will I update the bios if I don't have any image on my screen.

Be wary of that PSU though.
