1000$ Laptop

I am in great need of a laptop and i need to purchase it either today or tomorow. I live in Romania, and my budget is 1000$(aprox 4000RON).

I will be using this laptop mainly for programming(Visual Studio, Unity, MATLAB) and a bit of light gaming (League of Legends, Hearthstone).

I want it to be fast in day to day use, so i would like a HDD and a SSD and a minimum of 8GB of RAM. i7 processor would be great.

I found this model HP Gaming 17.3'' OMEN 17-an004nq, and this model HP Gaming 17.3'' Pavilion 17-ab303nq.

What do you think is the best choice? Can i find anything better in this price range? 

Those 2 laptops have both advantages and disadvantages:

OMEN: HDD 7200RPM and PCIe SSD but only 8 GB of RAM

Pavilion: HDD 5400RPM and a SATA 3 SSD but 12 GB of RAM
